Day 32 – Queenstown, in and around

After an exciting few days it was time for another lazy day. Slept in, checked email and watched some TV. Then headed into town do some souvenir shopping for the family. Then booked a jet boat ride for the next day.

Although it was sunny it was still bitterly cold and as soon as the sun began to sink lower in the sky it was back to the hostel for hot soup and a movie before catching an early night.

So, what did you think of NZ? How did it differ from SA? I truly loved it over there and wish so much I could go back. What are you doing now? You are such an amazing photographer and writer. I hope you are using your talents! Are there any new trips on the horizon? I need to get back to reviewing your China blog. Ok…I’m rambling!

    • NZ was beautiful and everything I imagined from a scenery point of view. Culturally it reminded me a lot of Zimbabwe and had a small town feel to it, not surprisingly having come from China I suppose.
Right now I’m back in South Africa exploring opportunities in travel writing and photography trying to figure out my next step so we’ll see where things lead.
So far my next trips are to Zimbabwe in December for a high school reunion and the Kgaligadi Game Park in January on the border of South Africa & Botswana.
